History of MUN'S

The United Nations Model methodology emerged at Harvard University in 1948. Currently, they are carried out in more than ninety different States in all languages. In the mid-1990s, they began to take place in Argentina.

The United Nations officially came into existence on October 24, 1945, after the Charter was ratified by China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, and most other signatories.

Now, more than 75 years later, the United Nations continues to work to maintain international peace and security, provide humanitarian assistance to those in need, protect human rights and uphold international law.
